Set of light and color for this staircase …
The stairwells are always a place with a lot of usage so it is better not to opt for the white! Here I chose the True Taupe of Little Greene as well as Lakesha wall fittings which give a great use of light. The beautiful handrail, made to measure by one of my loyal craftsmen in ironwork highlights the black metal windows and the travertine floor.
And why not a niche bottle storage…
The technical constraints of keeping the main house support pillars, led me to modify the interior plans with the creation of niche storage spaces between the kitchen and the living area.
The addition of lighting and an American vintage bottle rack by Vintage View has given a great finishing.

A cosy corner in an open space …
Today, we like to remove partitions and create large living spaces where we can combine a kitchen, living room, dining room, or why not for a touch of comfort add a cosy corner next to a stove or a fireplace.
Here I chose to paint the wall behind the stove, which often gets dirty quickly with the heat and soot, in Brinjal ‘s color from Farrow and Ball. Two comfortable armchairs in taupe velvet as well as wood decorate this little snug corner.
