Emicasa is an interior design atelier based in Valbonne that works regularly in Antibes: Vieil Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cap d'Antibes. The first meeting is free, at the property or remotely, and we work in five languages including English.
Emicasa has worked on Antibes interiors since 2017, both inside the ramparts of Vieil Antibes and in the newer flats facing Juan-les-Pins.
The light on the headland is strong and flat in summer, softer on the inner side of the bay. That feeds into the textile choices, the palette, the depth of plaster we leave on the wall. The Juan flats often have wide glazing onto the sea; the work is to give them a material anchor inside, so that the view isn't the only subject of the room.
In Vieil Antibes the work is much more with what's there — exposed stone, terracotta floor tiles, small windows, narrow stairs. Decoration there reads more restrained, almost monastic.
What's here: flats and houses inside the Vieil Antibes ramparts; modern villas and flats along the Juan-les-Pins coast; Cap d'Antibes occasionally.
Wood (2022) is a 310 m² (3,340 sqft) villa on the Cap d'Antibes, in a wood and terracotta palette.
