Emicasa is an interior design atelier based in Valbonne that works regularly in Biot: the hilltop old village and villas in the plain. The first meeting is free, at the property or remotely, and we work in five languages including English.
Emicasa has worked in Biot since 2017, in the hilltop old village as well as in the houses scattered below.
Biot is a craft village — blown glass, pottery, ceramics. That tradition feeds the local decoration vocabulary, and we often source pieces directly from the workshops, without intermediaries. Interiors there take a rougher, more coloured material than elsewhere on the coast.
The old village has access constraints (narrow streets, stairs, uneven floors) that weigh on the timeline. We build them into the calendar.
What's here: stone houses in the hilltop old village; villas in the plain towards the Brague river; a living network of working craft workshops.
Several partial decoration and coaching projects so far. No full project delivered in Biot yet; pipeline in progress.
