Emicasa is an interior design atelier based in Valbonne that works regularly in Mougins: stone houses in the old village and plateau villas. The first meeting is free, at the property or remotely, and we work in five languages including English.
Emicasa has worked on Mougins interiors since 2017, mostly stone houses inside the old village and a smaller share of newer villas above the autoroute.
The old-village rooms are typically dark and vaulted, with thick walls that hold a cool internal temperature. Our work on those houses tends to keep the structure as found and to lighten the interior with linen, lime plaster, very little furniture, and careful attention to where the light fittings sit.
On the plateau villas the context is different — larger volumes, glazing, Mediterranean gardens. The atelier often works the threshold between inside and outside there, and the floor material.
What's here: stone houses inside the old village; villas and bastides across the plateau; a handful of golf-side properties.
La Bergerie (2024) is a 220 m² stone bastide in Mougins, restored with the original vaulting kept intact.
